The Vestry
Restaurant is ideally situated between Kenmare & Sneem on
the Ring of Kerry overlooking Kenmare Bay. Templenoe (Church of Ireland) Church was
constructed between 1790 & 1816 by the O'Mahony family of Dromore and used for
services until 1987. It was sympathetically converted into a restaurant in 1993 by the O'Mahony family of Blackwater, and is now (since 1996) owned by Martin McCormack. It retains many of its original features creating a delightful setting full of charm and character in which to relax and enjoy your meal. Dinners: between 6 p.m. and 9.30 p.m. We offer a full a la carte menu including freshly caught local sea food, the finest Irish beef and lamb as well as vegetarian dishes to suit all tastes. All meals are prepared to order and complimented by an extensive wine list. Sunday lunch: Served between 12.30 p.m.and 3 p.m. |
