Kenmare Horse Show is wonderful day out for all the family. There is a lot of horse and pony showing classes throughout the day. Dog showing also takes place. Entertainment for the kids include bouncy castles and puppet shows. It is a wonderful day out with lots of entertainment for all the family.

Fleadh Cheoil na Mumhan, now in its 48th year, has become the largest Provincial Fleadh in Ireland, Britain and United States. It rotates annually to a different county around Munster. This year is the turn of Kenmare in Co. Kerry. The Fleadh plays host to visitors from home and abroad and Kenmare should prove to be a most popular venue. Visitors from all over the world will enjoy a true Kerry welcome and will be treated to an abundance of music, song and dance at the many impromptu sessions as well as set and céilí dancing venues around the town.

2008-08-15   Kenmare Traditional Anual Fair

Experience a true Fair, long gone from most towns around the country but very vibrant in Kenmare. Gathering of the clans. All sorts of animals on sale – cattle, horses, donkeys, ponies, pigs, pups, chicks, ducklings, turkeys, gold fish and even ferrets!!! Various stalls, selling a wide range of produce – locally produced foods, breads, cheese, dulsce, perriwinkles, smoked salmon, fish pate, clothes, tools and toys to name but a few. Fortune tellers, street entertainment. Something for everyone to enjoy. Your itinerary must include the 15th. Just turn up on the day.
