Bonane Heritage Park is a must see for all visitors to Kenmare. It is a stunning walk laden with archeological treasures that all of the family will enjoy. Located in between the Ring of Kerry and the Ring of Beara, the walk will take you by an ancient stone circle, fulacht fiadh, Bullaun Stone, Standing Stone, Ringfort, and Famine House Ruins.
There is a small entry fee into the park that will go to the not for profit foundation that maintains it. As the park is open all day long, you may place the fee into the “honesty box” if there is no one in attendance. The fees are:

Directions: When approaching Kenmare from Killarney Road R569, take the N71 towards Glengarriffe for 10Kms, the Heritage Park is signposted, take the next left and keep left over Dromagorteen Bridge and an immediate left again and the Park is into your right.
