The house has 4 bedrooms, (sleeps 6) bathroom with shower, large sitting room with open fire, modern kitchen with dishwasher, tumble dryer and washing machine, and central oil fired heating, and has a large garden. Baby-sitter available. You can reach the seashore through lovely forest walks which also joins up with the famous "Kerry Way". This is the walkway which covers all of the south of Kerry. Kenmare town which is very picturesque is only 10 km away, where you can purchase all your shopping and visit the lovely cafés and craft shops. The area is very suitable for touring all west Cork (The beara Peninsula) and the Ring of Kerry including Cahersiveen, Dingle and Killarney, by car or local bus hire or bicycle. The amenities in the area include shore fishing, or fishing in the Blackwater river, Horse riding, Golfing Water sports and boat hire. Natural woodlands and boglands abounding with wildlife, flora and fauna. There are also two old castles in the area, Cappanacuss Castle and Dromore Castle which is presently being restored, and many other places of interest to archaeologists. The area also prides itself in having two pubs in the heart of the countryside with traditional music and dancing, and a very nice restaurant 'The Vestry' which was once a church and Dromquinna Manor Hotel ideal for dining out and relaxing.
